Tips On Playing Shorter Notes

Have you noticed how when you pluck a tine that it rings for about 5 seconds and fades away slowly? Sometimes you may want the tine to stop ringing after 1-3 seconds and it can be a little frustrating to try and stop them without making your song sound bad.

Our tip to you is to practice using your thumb to softly stop the key from ringing. Some songs call for shorter notes, aka staccato notes, and this is the best way to perfect those types of songs!
